This website is the first attempt to pull together the work of a remarkable family of artists. The word artists in this context means painters, printers, photographers. They practised over a period of 130 years.

Arguably their work continues over a longer period with Denis T R Dighton becoming a senior executive at Kodak responsible for manufacturing in the heyday of the instamatic camera.
My interest in the subject goes back 4 years intially stimulated by looking at the family tree but later an interest in watercolour painting.

The plan is to populate the gallery and the text with more inforation over time so that it becomes the most comprehensive source of information about the Dighton family.
